TruAmerica Multifamily Acquires 200-Unit Apartment Complex in San Ramon, Plans Renovations
TruAmerica Multifamily, a Los Angeles-based investment firm, has completed the acquisition of Bridges at San Ramon, a 200-unit apartment community located approximately 36 miles west of San Francisco. This transaction increases TruAmerica's total multifamily portfolio in the San Francisco Bay Area to 1,240 units. The seller involved in the deal was not disclosed.
The Bridges at San Ramon complex offers a mix of one- and two-bedroom units, each averaging 739 square feet. Existing amenities include a pool, spa, fitness center, and electric vehicle charging stations. TruAmerica plans to initiate a renovation program for a majority of the units, which will feature upgrades such as quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances, wood-style flooring, and updated fixtures. This renovation strategy builds on approximately $2.3 million in exterior and common-area improvements completed by the prior ownership over the past five years. This acquisition signifies continued investment in value-add multifamily opportunities within the competitive Bay Area market.
