Abreu Development Proposes 103-Unit Apartment Complex in Opa-Locka
Miami-based Abreu Development LLC is advancing plans for a new seven-story apartment complex in Opa-Locka, Florida. The proposed development, currently unnamed, would encompass just over 103,000 square feet of new construction and include 103 residential units. The unit mix features 45 one-bedroom, 53 two-bedroom, and five three-bedroom apartments. Planned amenities for residents include 159 parking spaces and a fitness center, though a swimming pool is not part of the design.
The project is slated for an undeveloped 35,900-square-foot site located at the southwest corner of Golf Course Boulevard and Jann Avenue. Abreu Development LLC has the property under contract from its current owner, Loto 2. Cabrera Ramos Architects, based in Doral, is responsible for the architectural design, which conceptual renderings suggest will incorporate the Moorish Revival style characteristic of Opa-Locka. This development marks another venture for Abreu Development, following their Sunstone mixed-use project in Homestead earlier this year. The approval and construction of this complex would contribute to the housing inventory in Miami-Dade County, offering new residential options in Opa-Locka.
